When Will “Sex Education” Season 3 Be Released In Australia?

Are you up to date?

It feels like we’ve been waiting years—no, decades to catch the third season of Sex Education on our telly screens.

Well, wait no more (maybe a little bit more but not too much longer) ‘cos Netflix have just dropped the release date and first look at Season 3, and oh my is it exciting.

I would go as far as to say this is probs one of Netflix’s most popular teen dramas. It’s still all over my TikTok 'for you page' more than a year after the second season was released.

The highly anticipated new series will introduce us to some new characters, spicy hot drama and… school uniforms? Where were these in the last two seasons?

Where did we leave off in Season 2?

In case you need a quick recap (it has been over a year), we left off at the end of Season 2 where Otis (Asa Butterfield) finally confessed his feelings to Maeve (Emma Mackey) via voice message, only for it to be deleted by Issac (George Robinson). Rude.

We also can’t forget about Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam’s (Connor Swindells) big relo, and Dr. Jean’s (Gillian Anderson) new bae.

What to expect from Season 3.

According to Netflix, we will explore Eric and Adam’s relationship (of course), see Otis having more casual sex, watch everyone’s fave character Dr. Jean be a mumma again and get to know a few newbies in the cast, including a character named Cal (Dua Saleh), who is non-binary and another named Hope (Jemima Kirke) who is a returning student to Moordale.

Aside from the juicy goss we hope to see this season, Netflix also dropped some pics and revealed that we’re getting eight episodes (*squeals*).

If like me, you can’t miss out on this next season, you can catch it on Netflix from 17 September 2021.

In the meantime, you’ve still got a few months to catch up on the previous two seasons before this one hits our screens. Happy binging!
