Prepare Yourselves: “Sex Education” Season 2 Arrives on Netflix In January

A new term is starting.
For ten long months, we’ve been eager to find out when the next season of Sex Education would be hitting our screens.
Well, it’s officially time to pack up your books and head back to Moordale Secondary, because we finally know when the awkward teen comedy will be available to binge.
Taking to social media, Netflix UK announced that Season 2 will land on the streaming platform on 17 January 2020. Netflix Australia later confirmed the eight new episodes will also arrive on the Aussie service on the same date.
The poster depicts the whole gang looking pretty badass, yet it doesn’t give too much away. Our leading characters, Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), have fairly blank expressions, while Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa), and our favourite sex therapist Dr Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson) are looking positively shocked. On the other hand, Aimee Gibbs (Aimee Lou Wood), is holding a baseball bat. What is she using it for? Only time will tell.
According to Netflix Australia, Season 2 will follow Otis' new relationship with Ola (Patricia Allison). However, he’ll have to master his own sexual urges in order to move forward with her. Of course, Ola is not the only woman in Otis' life. He will also have to deal with his now strained relationship with Maeve, all while Moordale Secondary is facing a Chlamydia outbreak.

Back in May, Netflix gave us a small behind-the-scenes look at the table read for the upcoming season, and based on the cast’s reactions, it looks like it’s going to be more hilarious than ever.
If you’re not one of the 40 million members that watched Sex Education Season 1 in its first four weeks of being released on Netflix, now is the time to catch up.
