PSA: Hasbro Has Blessed Us With a Baby Yoda Edition of Monopoly

With COVID-19 disrupting life as we know it, we all need things to look forward to once the pandemic is over. We've got the rollout of the 5G network, Lady Gaga's new album Chromatica and even the next Billie Eilish Vanity Fair interview to keep us feeling positive about the future.

Now, there's something else to add to your list: a Baby Yoda version of Monopoly is being released by Hasbro. 

Since The Mandalorian first hit Disney +, people all over the world have become obsessed with the adorable little green creature. Even Daisy Ridley admitted that The Child was far cuter than Porgs during an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. 

So, if you've been quick to collect all the Baby Yoda merchandise there is, you'll want to get your hands on this Monopoly game. 

Considering Monopoly can spark massive arguments between even the closest of friends or families, perhaps Baby Yoda's calming image on the board game will help everyone keep their cool. 

The game comes with the Baby Yoda themed Monopoly board, Imperial Monopoly credits, a Deeds deck, Camtono deck, Bounty Pack deck, The Child player tokens with stands, Hideout and Common House pieces and a two 6-sided dice. 

However, you won't be able to invite your mates over for a game night to play Monopoly: The Child Edition any time soon, because it won't be available in Australia until October. 

The game costs $68.00 and you can pre-order it now through EB Games. You'll only need to pay a $10.00 deposit when you order it.

It's pretty pricey, but who wouldn't want to fork out the extra cash to play as Baby Yoda? 

Just remember, you can't use any Jedi mind tricks to win this one.
