Good Blood? Katy Perry Says She's "Deeply Sorry" to Taylor Swift

Wake us up when the Katy Perry x Taylor Swift feud finally ends.

We all like a good celebrity feud, but there are definitely some that have more flavour and pizazz than others.

Unfortunately for us all, as far as celebrity feuds go, one of the most vanilla, spiceless feuds has lasted what feels like centuries. Yes, we are talking about the beef between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Thankfully, it looks as if this plain bread chapter in celebrity feuds might (finally) be closing after Taylor Swift posted an Instagram story showing an actual olive branch and apology from a "Katy", who we can only assume has a last name "Perry."

The letter, while blurry, seemed to read: "Hey Old Friend—I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us." The words "deeply sorry" can also be made out.

This could mark the end of the six-year war that started when Swift "stole" (but okay, let's be real, they're humans, not property) some of Perry's backup dancers.

Swift released "Bad Blood" in 2015 with her all-star girl gang as an alleged (but basically confirmed) dig at Perry while Perry's 2017 clapback, "Swish Swish" with Nicki Minaj, another former Swift feuder, fizzled spectacularly.

It was only months ago (and after the failure of "Swish Swish") that Perry admitted on American Idol that she loved Taylor Swift "as a songwriter" (that specificity being very crucial). However, she also admitted in a livestream last year that she was "ready to let it go."

"I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her," Perry said.

"There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying?"

Yes, we know what you're saying and for the love of new gossip, let's all move past this.
