Taylor Swift Raises The White Flag, Apologises To Nicki Minaj

Peace in our time.

The 100-year three-day war between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift has finally come to an end.

After a full 24 hours of silence, Swift apologised to Minaj for taking offence from her series of Tweets criticising the MTV VMAs after they snubbed her "Anaconda" video. (If you've not been playing along, it's been a whole thing.)

Nicki Minaj accepted the apology graciously, before blowing a kiss to Taylor's sworn nemesis Katy Perry, who jumped into the fray yesterday with a baffling, grammar-murdering Tweet of her own.

Hopefully, with this almost-feud now out of the way, we can refocus on Minaj's initial critique of MTV and their problematic relationship with black artists. Though Swift may have initially been nervous about biting the hand that feeds, the backlash of the past two days has hopefully inspired her to assemble the "Bad Blood" squad for one last mission, with Minaj out front, leading the troops.
