Bad Blood Redux: Katy Perry Enters The Nicki/ Taylor Fray

The nominees for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were announced yesterday, sparking a series of Tweets that have opened up debates on race, gender and beefs in the industry.

Nicki Minaj, slighted by her "Anaconda" snub, kicked off by suggesting "other" girls with "slim bodies" had taken her spot in the Best Video race.

Taylor Swift, nominated for "Bad Blood" and sensing shade, fired back by saying, "It's unlike you to pit women against each other."

They quickly made up after expressing how much they loved one another, but those initial bells could not be unrung.

Enter Katy Perry, the subject of diss track "Bad Blood", who couldn't help but eye an opening just as the dust was settling.
