Katy Perry Is Still Waiting For That Apology From Taylor Swift

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

It’s the lesson from Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight that Taylor Swift is learning in real time.

Following a disastrous few months in which she was pilloried for dumping Calvin Harris, mocked for concocting #Hiddleswift, put on blast by Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat account and accused of being a Satanist’s clone, Swift now finds herself on the losing side of yet another PR battle.

Turns out Katy Perry – the target of Swift’s “Bad Blood” – has been patiently waiting to strike at her weakened foe.

On Twitter, a fan casually asked if Perry would consider collaborating with Swift in the future.

Perry responded, “if she says sorry, sure!”

(We screencapped the exchange, because if a détente is indeed called, these beef-y Tweets will likely wind up deleted.)

Can we expect a “Bad Blood” response track on Perry’s upcoming new album? Or will Swift indeed send her apologies to Katy on her next – and apparently imminent - record?

We literally cannot wait to find out.
