Billie Eilish's Annual Vanity Fair Interview Is Here, So Get to YouTube

At this point it's like the Christmas before Christmas.

So, we've been waiting all year for Billie Eilish to bless our screens with the fourth instalment of the Vanity Fair interview. Honestly, it's exactly what we need considering how chaotic 2020 has been.

If you aren't sure what we're on about, basically every year since 2017 Vanity Fair has interviewed singer-songwriter Billie Eilish. They've asked her the same questions to see how her answers change as she grows.

Billie rose to fame when she was just 15-years-old and these interviews are just such an amazing way for fans to watch how the young artist has grown both professionally and personally.

Plus, it's Billie, so you just have to stan.

In 2020, Billie speaks on a lot of huge and really important issues that have impacted a lot of people globally (ahem, as well as the pandemic), and to say this year's take was profound would be an understatement.

Billie hasn't been quiet in the past about her perspectives on the climate crisis and social issues and in this latest interview she touches on them again.

This year Billie describes herself as "more open to learning" as she participated in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and attended some protests.

As usual, she spends a lot of the interview laughing and kind of cringing at her past self. However, she spoke on how much she has grown as a person over the space of a year. Additionally, Billie touched on how she has been struggling with finding her identity. 

When the singer was asked to reveal the biggest rumour about her, Billie mentioned the media drama—and honestly bullying—that circulated when she was spotted in a tank top on a hot day earlier this year.

Billie had previously spoken about body image and normalising real bodies because of this image. In the interview, she says that she is glad her empowering message can make a difference to other young people.

Since the last Vanity Fair video, Billie has won five Grammys, performed at the Oscars, attended the Brits, won a Brit and met just about every celebrity you could think of.

Her favourite movie is still Fruitvale Station and her best friend is still her brother Finneas (along with some others)

She now also has a gorgeous rescue pup, which is just the cutest news ever.
