Billie Eilish Has Unveiled Her James Bond Theme Song and It's a Mood

Stans are here for it.
When it was announced last month that Billie Eilish would be writing and performing the title song for James Bond's next adventure, No Time to Die, we weren't quite sure what to expect. Would the tune be more reminscent of "bad guy" or "everything i wanted"? More importantly, would the track measure up to Adele's highly acclaimed "Skyfall"?
Well, any doubts we previously had quickly dissipated this morning when the Grammy-winning artist unveiled the theme song for the upcoming Bond movie.
If you haven't listened to it already, prepare for goosebumps.
The theme song, which Billie wrote with her brother/producer Finneas, is unapologetically moody. Starting off soft and delicate with the piano, the track builds into a full orchestral sound complete with horns and cascading strings.
James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement, "Billie and Finneas have written an incredibly powerful and moving song for No Time To Die, which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film."
It's safe to say that the tune has stans uncontrollably sobbing.

Billie is the youngest person ever to record the theme song for a Bond film, which probably beats whatever you were doing at 18.
The singer said in a statement, "It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I'm still in shock."
No Time to Die is scheduled to land in Aussie cinemas on 8 April 2020.
