Skincare YouTuber Hyram Has Finally Launched His Own Skincare Range and It’s Available At Sephora

It’s called Selfless by Hyram.

Calling all you hydrated gals, theys and guys: the internet’s favourite skincare YouTuber Hyram has finally released his own skincare range so we’re about to be glowing!

The YouTuber’s new range is in collaboration with cult skincare brand The Inkey List and is titled Selfless by Hyram, aiming not just to look after our skin, but environmental and ethical initiatives as well.

Hyram announced his products about three weeks back, but as of this week it is officially available in all Sephora stores around Australia, so you’ll want to jump on this ASAP.

Who is Hyram?

In case the beauty side of YouTube isn’t really your usual go to, Hyram (more commonly known as Skincare By Hyram) is a skincare YouTuber that started sharing videos to the platform back in 2017.

While not a dermatologist or aesthetician, Hyram started his channel to document his personal journey, share his tips and simplify our understanding of skincare, as he eventually became a skincare specialist.

Soon Gen Z started following his recommendations and many began discovering the best skin of their life.

His message that “skincare is for everyone,” and easy approach launched him into popularity in 2019, and he now has over 4.59 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.8 million followers on TikTok.

Hyram usually makes videos testing out skincare brands, breaking down celebrities’ skincare routines, sharing his favourite products and discussing both social and mental health issues.

I will admit, I completely shifted my skincare routine from something that was not so great, to CeraVe, Paula’s Choice and The Ordinary (oop).

His fans are ride or die, so the revelation of his very own skincare brand is huge, and I can't lie, I'm low key proud of him.

What is Selfless by Hyram?

Now on to the fun stuff. Selfless by Hyram is Hyram’s collaborative range with The Inkey List and is meant to give us glowing skin, as well as create social change by helping to save the environment and provide clean drinking water to those in need.

And yes, before you ask, Selfless by Hyram contains all the good actives from Hyrams fave list, including niacinamide, retinol, salicylic acid and mandelic acid (woo!)

There are currently five products in the range and all work together to protect your skin, prevent breakouts and aging, and gently cleanse.

It includes a Green Tea Daily Gel Cleanser, Salicylic Acid and Sea Kelp Pore Clearing and Oil Control Serum, Mandelic Acid and Rice Bran Gentle Exfoliating Serum, Niacinamide and Maracujá Daily Barrier Support Moisturiser, and a Rainbow Algae Night Repair Serum.

Before you go out and buy the whole range and apply them all at once, hold up! You’ll want to apply specific products in the AM and others at night, so as to not double up on active ingredients and wind up hurting your face.

Here’s how Hyram recommends applying and layering the range.

Onto the social change side of things, this is a really awesome brand if you are looking for skincare that won’t hurt the planet or people. It’s not just another regular ol’ YouTuber brand.

With every ‘healthy quality’ product of Selfless by Hyram that you purchase, one person is provided with clean drinking water for a year, and every ‘climate impact’ product you purchase will help to prevent deforestation all over the world.

On top of this, all of the ingredients used in each product is mindfully sourced and Selfless by Hyram makes sure that workers, communities and natural regions are empowered, rather than taken advantage of, by the sourcing of these ingredients.

When and where can we buy it?

Over the last few weeks, Hyram has been teasing the heck out of us by revealing the brand, introducing the individual products and sharing how to use them, so it’s an understatement to say we’re itching to get our hands on it.

Overnight Sephora Australia launched all five products on their website alongside the rest of The Inkey List range.

Hyram’s products range from $33 to $48 so they’re a little bit on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected with a product that’s come all the way from the US and is committed to ethical standards.

So, if you want your face to shine like the gods, head to Sephora’s website now or call your local store to ask if they have stock before it all sells out.
