When Is “Euphoria” Season 2 Coming Out in Australia?

Trigger warning: this article discusses sexual assault.
It’s official: dreams do come true! After nearly two years of waiting, Euphoria Season 2 finally has a release date and teaser trailer.
Pull out your glitter and eye makeup ‘cos it’s about to go down.
Thanks to a glorious Instagram announcement from none other than the walking angel herself: Emmy award-winning actress Zendaya, fans of the fantasy teen drama finally have a sneak peek of what is to come with Rue and the gang.
What is Euphoria about?
Following a group of high-school students, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of teen life, and dealing with love, rage, identity, drugs, sex and everything in between, Euphoria is a break-out show with Season 1 becoming one of the most popular shows on BINGE last year.
The first season of the edgy Gen Z drama introduced us to Rue (Zendaya), a 17-year-old girl struggling with drug addiction after overdosing.
After meeting Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer), a trans girl who recently moved to town following her parents' divorce, Rue’s life changes drastically as she struggles to figure out where she belongs. Season 1 ended with her relapsing after three months of sobriety.
Not only did Rue (Zendaya) relapse, but her relationship with Jules was left up in the air. Nate (Jacob Elordi) seemed on the edge of turning completely homicidal, threatening Rue to keep her from airing his dad’s dirty laundry. Meanwhile, Maddy (Alexa Demie) watched the video footage of Nate’s dad raping Jules, as Fezco (Angus Cloud) prepared for a shoot-out with Mouse.
In case you need a brush up on your TV history, Euphoria is actually based on an Israeli show of the same name, which aired 10 episodes back in 2012. Unfortunately, it was just a one-and-done situation, with only a single season ever produced (with, apparently, an extremely, extremely dark ending).

When is Euphoria dropping in Australia?
Thanks to Zendaya’s post on Insta this morning, we now know that the show will go live in the US on Saturday 9 January.
Thanks to time zones and all that jazz, we’ll see the new season on Aussie screens at the time on Monday 10 January. No more waiting!
Where can I watch Euphoria Season 2?
Considering Euphoria is a HBO series and we don’t have access to HBO in Australia (cry), the second season will be found on BINGE, so you can stream the whole season during yo’ school holidays.
Both Season 1 and the two special episodes can also be found on BINGE if you need to catch up before the new season drops.
Happy binging!
