What is Bump?
*Spoilers for Season 1 of Bump below.*
To quickly recap, after starting a normal day at school in Sydney’s Inner West, Oly (Nathalie Morris) finds herself going into labour in a school toilet cubical. Consequently, she is rushed into an ambulance and gives birth to a baby girl. The only problem: she didn’t even know she was pregnant in the first place (a phenomenon known as a ‘cryptic pregnancy’).
The first season breaks down her struggles of breaking up with her boyfriend, telling her family that the real father is the sensitive ‘stoner’ boy in her class, Santiago (Carlos Sanson Jr) and struggling to balance motherhood and school all at the same time.
By the end of Episode 2, Oly’s plans, relationship and values are challenged by the realisation that she wants to keep her baby and try raising her on her own. Staying true to her strong feminist beliefs and academic drive, Oly empoweringly chooses to bring baby Jacinda to high school with her.

What can we expect from Season 2 of Bump?
While Oly and Santi continue to get to know each other, they discover just how much families can mess you up. Meanwhile, Oly’s parents Angie (Claudia Karvan) and Dom (Angus Sampson) continue to deal with the fallout of their separation, the complicated new relationships, and dramas they have found themselves immersed in.
With life still freshly turned upside down, Oly and Santi have to make some big decisions as they juggle a work-life balance that includes high school and baby Jacinda, while building for their own future.
