The Kids From "Stranger Things" Will Make Actual Millions for Season Three

Get that money, Millie.
The cast members of Stranger Things will all get raises for the upcoming third season, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Fair enough! The show, produced by Netflix, is one of the biggest hits for the streaming service (well, we assume anyway; they don’t release ratings, so we’re basing this entirely on volume of GIFs created in the show’s honour).

Winona Ryder and David Harbour—who play adults Joyce and Hopper, respectively—will reportedly score $US350,000 an episode going forward, while the four main boys—Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will)—will each earn $US250,000 per ep.
Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery—aka the three corners of the teenage love triangle that includes Nancy, Jonathan and Steve—will each make $US150,000 an episode.
(Honestly, Joe Keery deserves some kind of additional bump, if only for the Tumblr posts he inspires. Again, this is the only way we truly know Stranger Things is being watched by anyone.)

That leaves 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown, who renegotiated her salary separately from the rest of the cast, similar to the way Eleven ran off on her own in Season Two. Though, Millie’s solo adventure has yielded much more positive results.
Though THR doesn’t know exactly how much Brown’s getting paid, some sources tell them it’s more than the $US350,000 being earned by the grown-ups. Others suggest she’s in a tier of her own, below Ryder and Harbour but above the boys, at approximately $US300,000 an episode.
Either way, she’s looking at more than $US2.4 million a season, depending on how many episodes lay ahead. Repeat: She is 14 years of age.
(Spare a thought for newcomer Sadie Sink, aka Max, who isn’t even mentioned in THR’s report. Then again, she’s probably already making more than every other person you know, so don’t feel too bad for her.)
The younger stars of the show had previously been earning $US20,000 an episode for the first two seasons, but received bonuses of $US60,000 due to the show’s success.
Imagine all the hair product Dustin can afford now.
