The Teaser for "Stranger Things" S3 Makes Us Want a Steve Spin-Off ASAP

Netflix knows you’re here for Steve Harrington.

A teaser for the third season of Stranger Things introduces us to a brand-new shopping mall in the center of fictional Hawkins, Indiana. Cool?

Though that may not sound as scintillating as where the second season left off—remember that?—it does give us a glimpse of internet-boyfriend Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) working at a sailing-themed ice-creamery.

Frankly, we’re kind-of okay with the prospect of the next season of Stranger Things ditching all the supernatural Demogorgonry and focusing on Steve’s "Ahoy"-attired romancing of his new colleague.

Producer Shawn Levy already promised us more "Dad Steve" in S3. Just focus the show entirely on him already.

BTW, Netflix, admit it: you just filmed this at the same mall as that GLOW promo, right?

We don't know when the next season of Stranger Things will land, but the teaser says the mall is coming "next summer". We're assuming that's the American summer, which means S3 could be a full year away.
