Did the Internet Just Send Hopper from "Stranger Things" to Antarctica to Dance With Penguins?

David Harbour requested it. Greenpeace allowed it. The internet granted it.
Legends are born on the internet. While they usually come in the form of memes these days, sometimes, on special occasions, they transcend the digital constraints of the meme and enter the real world.
This is what happened when the internet caught whiff of one particular scene in the latest season of Stranger Things where we see Jim Hopper (played by David Harbour) do a classic-dad dance.

Naturally, this oddball moment transformed into a meme and clever folks on the internet synced his dancing to popular tracks.
And David Harbour has since embraced it. Just yesterday, he asked Greenpeace what it would take for him to get included in the next expedition to Antarctica so he could (very slightly) move his hips with some penguins.
Greenpeace's answer? 200,000 retweets would settle it.
And the internet made one man's wish come true.
So, now, we just have to wait patiently for the video footage of some hip wiggles and old-man clicks. It's a miracle we never knew we even wanted in the first place.

While it certainly wasn't the first Twitter campaign to result in a happy ending, it definitely feels the most wholesome and for that, we are thankful to our overlord, the internet.
