Taylor Swift Will Testify Against DJ Who Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Her Next Week

Taylor Swift will finally appear in court after an incident in 2013 where a DJ allegedly sexually assaulted her during a meet-and-greet.

The incident occurred in June 2013 at a backstage meet-and-greet in Denver, Colorado. The radio DJ, David Mueller, allegedly touched Swift inappropriately during a photo together. At the time of the incident, she did not make a complaint or press charges, but her manager called up the radio station where Mueller worked and informed his boss of the occurrence.

Mueller was subsequently fired from his job at the station. Two years later, during the same weekend Swift won an Emmy, he decided to file a lawsuit against her because he lost his job. Yes, he sued her.

Swift then decided to counter-sue and will reportedly donate any of the winnings to charities that dedicate their cause to protecting women in similar situations.

In July last year, she provided a video deposition that alleged:

"Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek and no matter how much I scooted over it was still there. It was completely intentional, I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life."

The trial begins tomorrow and Swift will likely appear in court in the next few weeks to testify alongside her mother (who was present at the time of the offence).

Let's hope that justice is swift and merciless.
