The lawsuit had a blank space, baby. And she wrote his name.
Back in September, Taylor Swift had
a very weird weekend in which she won an Emmy and was sued by a radio DJ who allegedly groped her. (The events were unrelated, but still: weird weekend.)
Yes, you read that correctly. The guy who allegedly lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom” sued
Swift after he was fired from his Colorado DJ gig for the violation.

DJ David Mueller claims it was another of his colleagues from radio station KYGO that made the gross move.
However, at the time of the suit, Swift’s spokesman told CNN that evidence of Mueller committing the act had been provided to the station “immediately after the incident.”
Instead of letting the suit pass her by, Swift has decided to take a stand and countersue Mueller.
According to
the Washington Post, documents filed in the U.S. District Court in Colorado dispute Mueller’s defence and instead allege assault.
“Mueller’s newfound claim that he is the ‘wrong guy’ and, therefore, his termination from KYGO was unjustified, is specious,” the suit reads.
“Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller.”
The suit also says any profits from awarded damages will be “donated to charitable organisations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”
If Mueller had heard even one Taylor Swift song before, he surely would have seen this coming.
She's not exactly one to let a transgression slide. Nor should she, in this particular instance.
