Xbox Unveil a "SpongeBob SquarePants"-Themed Console and We Just Can’t Look Away

Ravioli, ravioli, give me the consolioli.

Long-time SpongeBob SquarePants fans stand up and represent ‘cos Xbox have pulled the cover off their next customised Xbox Series X and it’s the most beautiful and nightmarish thing you’ve ever seen.

Say hello to the SpongeBob Xbox Series X.

To celebrate the release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl—a Super Smash Brothers-style game—Xbox revealed that one lucky gamer could win themselves this custom Xbox Series X that is literally designed to look exactly like the famous yellow sponge.

Complete with a yellow controller that has SpongeBob’s face splashed over it, the limited-edition console is not for sale, sorry.

Instead, to get your hands on this bad boy you’ll need to enter Xbox’s sweepstake to take home SpongeBob SquareConsole (I’m coining that phrase now).

To enter, all you need to do is follow Xbox’s Twitter account and retweet their tweet below with the #XboxAllStarBrawlsweepstakes.

The only other catch is that you must be 18-years or older to enter.

If the SpongeBob console doesn’t tickle your fancy, Xbox has also created a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed console too, with Leonardo (he’s the blue turtle) also getting the console treatment.

Honestly, our preference is hands down the SpongeBob console. He fits the dimensions of the console perfectly and brings back all my fond memories of the early 2000s show.

The only issue I can foresee for the lucky winner is will the eye-burningly bright yellow console match the feng shui of their TV room?

I doubt it.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is out now and available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S for $59.
