Sorry, Satanists: There Will Be a "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" Christmas Special

But would Sabrina even celebrate Xmas?

Despite facing a $US50m lawsuit from the Satanic Temple, Netflix is pressing ahead with a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Christmas special, set to debut on 14 December.

The bonus episode—titled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale—will focus on the Church of Night’s Winter Solstice celebration, and will have the cast gathering around the Yule Fire "to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories".

Netflix’s press release announcing the surprise ep also adds, ominously: "[Y]ou never know what might come down the chimney". But we have a hunch: demonic Santa.

We look forward to seeing the episode and the inevitable lawsuit it inspires.
