PSA: "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 7 Is Now Streaming on Netflix Australia

Cool, cool, cool.

We have been patiently impatiently waiting for Season 7 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine to land on Netflix Australia for what feels like forever.

If you didn't manage to catch the S7 episodes when they started to air on SBS and SBS on Demand last February, you were forced to endure a massive waiting game. 

We know it must have been tough.

However, you can breathe a sigh of relief 'cos Brookyln Nine-Nine Season 7 has finally arrived on Aussie Netflix over the weekend.

Plus, New Zealand viewers will be able to stream the latest season on Netflix from today.

That means you have absolutely every right to cancel your plans and binge all the new episodes in one day. 

The reason S7 took so long to land on Netflix Australia is because new episodes of the show can't appear on the streaming service until several months after it has finished airing globally. 

If you do manage to binge all the episodes in one day, you'll be happy to know that the show has been renewed for an eighth season (in fact, it was renewed before Season 7 even aired).

In June 2020, Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Terry Crews announced that showrunner Dan Goor had scrapped four new episodes for the upcoming season, following George Floyd's death at the hands of a police officer.

"We've had a lot of somber talks about it and deep conversations and we hope through this we're going to make something that will be truly groundbreaking this year. We have an opportunity and we plan to use it in the best way possible," Terry told Access Hollywood.

The cast and Goor donated $US100,000 to the National Bail Fund Network in June to "condemn the murder of George Floyd and support the many people who are protesting police brutality nationally." 

On top of that, the writers have also reportedly been busy figuring out how to incorporate the coronavirus pandemic into Season 8.

At this stage, no exact release date for Brooklyn Nine-Nine S8 has been confirmed. In August last year, it was revealed that the upcoming season would be delayed until 2021. 

We'll be sure to keep you posted. In the meantime, it looks like you'll just have to watch S7 on Netflix over and over again.
