Here’s When "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 7 Starts in Australia

So close and yet so far.

Remember when the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, having already survived a near-death cancellation experience, discovered their show was going to be renewed for a seventh season and screamed in delight?

Well, prepare to scream in delight yourself—just like you’re Terry swimming in a big ol’ tub of yoghurt—because the show finally has a return date.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine S7 will premiere on Australian screens Friday 7 February 2020.

It’ll technically debut on NBC in America on Thursday 6 February, but that translates to our Friday, Australia-time.

The hour-long premiere will be fast-tracked to SBS and SBS on Demand down under.

Cue the celebratory GIF:

Unfortunately, the sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine (AKA the first following the show’s cancellation by Fox and resuscitation by NBC in the States) is yet to arrive on our Netflix.

New episodes of the show can’t appear on Netflix until several months after it has finished airing globally, and since the show’s broadcast schedule was altered by its (brief) cancellation, it has taken longer than usual for B99’s most recent season to become available for streaming. That's also why you'll probably have to wait until 2021 for the yet-to-debut Season 7 to arrive on Netflix.

So, if you don't want to wait another full year for more B99, you're better off just following along with the show as new episodes roll out weekly on SBS from next February.
