The touching moment went viral.

Over the past week, protests have been taking place in the United States in response to the killing of George Floyd.

The movement has sparked rallies across the globe, with various protests in Australia scheduled to go forward this weekend.

Some demonstrators have clashed with police in the US, which has led to riots and looting. Officers have been using rubber bullets, flash bangs and tear gas to clear protesters from the area.

However, many people are continuing to protest in a safe and peaceful manner.

Earlier this week, Glee star Amber Riley stood before a large crowd of demonstrators in Los Angeles with a megaphone, and led the crowd in a singalong of Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar's "Freedom".

Since the track was released, many have called it an anthem for African American empowerment. Throughout the tune, the pair sing about systemic racism and slavery in the US.

Riley, who played Mercedes Jones on Glee, uploaded a video of the singalong to Instagram.

"What an honor," she captioned the post.

Check it out for yourself.

The powerful singalong went viral on Instagram and Twitter, with fans spotting Zendaya in the crowd.

Riley isn't the only celebrity to get involved in the protests. Yesterday, Star Wars actor John Boyega joined a protest in London's Hyde Park, and made an empowered speech to demonstrators.

Plus, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast and showrunner also donated $US100,000 to the National Bail Fund Network.

Kanye West has also been spotted attending a protest in Chicago. There's been reports that he has launched a college fund for George Floyd's daughter, along with donating $US2 million to charities.
