The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Cast and Showrunner Have Donated $100K to the National Bail Fund Network

They're sharing their support for those protesting police brutality.

Our favourite cop comedy cast has made a significant donation to the National Bail Fund Network following the killing of George Floyd.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast, along with co-creator Dan Goor, donated $US100,000 to the fund, which is run by the Community Justice Exchange and is made up of over sixty community bail and bond funds across the country.

Goor took to Twitter to express their support for the people who are protesting police brutality.

"The cast and showrunner of Brooklyn 99 condemn the murder of George Floyd and support the many people who are protesting police brutality nationally," he wrote.

Cast members including Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio and Joel McKinnon Miller also posted the statement.

Protests continue to take place across the United States, and around the world.

Beatriz, who portrays Rosa Diaz on the NBC show, donated $US11,000 to the organisation, highlighting that she "plays a detective on tv."

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 started airing in Australia in February this year, and we're patiently waiting for it to land on Aussie Netflix. Although, who knows when that will be.
