Ed Sheeran, Your Least Fave Cameo, Is Set to Appear in Upcoming "Star Wars"

Ed Sheeran is coming to invade your Star Wars: Episode IX experience.

If there's one thing you can say, uncontroversially, about the television and film industry as a whole, it's that there have been a lot of terrible cameos.

Maybe you've got Michael Jackson's appearance in Men In Black II in mind, or perhaps, you're thinking how badly Donald Trump's two seconds in Home Alone has aged.

But of all the world's worst cameos, Ed Sheeran's appearance in Game of Thrones might have been the most hated.

Proving to the world that he's not a one-hit (cameo) wonder, Ed Sheeran has decided to push past the haters and star in another cultural phenomenon; Star Wars.

The Sun is reporting that the ginger hitmaker has just finished filming his short appearance in the upcoming untitled Star Wars: Episode IX film and it's likely he'll be a Stormtrooper.

He'll join the ranks of other really-famous people who've been allowed faceless cameos in the series such as Prince Harry and Prince William, Daniel Craig and Tom Hardy.

Aside from his time as a Lannister soldier on Game of Thrones, Sheeran has also appeared in Home and Away, Bridget Jones's Baby and The Simpsons.

While The Sun reckons he'll just be a Stormtrooper, we still have our fingers crossed he'll appear as a fiery ewok.
