Childish Gambino and Rihanna Made a Movie and Here’s the Trailer

It’s apparently called Guava Island.

Childish Gambino AKA Donald Glover brought some surprises to his Pharos festival in New Zealand (though, that didn’t include rescheduled dates for his cancelled Australian tour).

One of those surprises was a trailer for his new movie with Rihanna, directed by Atlanta’s Hiro Murai and reportedly titled Guava Island.

The flick is apparently an action-adventure that involves Glover—playing an accented musician—getting abducted. It also stars your Black Panther fave Letitia Wright.

Mysteriously, the trailer calls it "a Childish Gambino film" rather than "a Donald Glover" one, which suggests this might be more of a companion piece to his rumoured upcoming album (similar to the film released alongside his 2013 record Because the Internet).

Either way, you can get a leaked glimpse of the trailer—cammed by a festival attendee—below.
