"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Will Return Exactly as You Remembered It: Delightful

Cool cool cool.
Remember that very stressful 24-hour period in which Brooklyn Nine-Nine was cancelled by American network Fox, before it was swiftly revived by rival station NBC?

Of course you do: you only just completed your intensive, ten-week counselling on this very subject.
Well, the show’s co-creator, Dan Goor, and its cast fronted up to the Television Critics Association yesterday to reassure everyone that emotional whiplash won’t be a feature of the surprise sixth season.
In fact, there won’t be any "substantial changes" to the show at all, according to a report by Vulture.
To begin with, they’re keeping the theme song. Phew.
There will also be another Halloween Heist (double phew) and another episode with a "similar feel" to Season 5’s standout bottle ep "The Box" (in which Emmy-nominated guest star Sterling K. Brown was interrogated by Andy Samberg’s Jake Peralta and Andre Braugher’s Raymond Holt).
Season 6 will also carry on the previous season’s major storylines, including Rosa’s (Stephanie Beatriz) coming out, and Jake and Amy’s (Melissa Fumero) marriage.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine will also attempt to broach the subject of #MeToo, which has affected production in a very real way, given how star Terry Crews has become the most public male face of the movement, even speaking to the American Senate about his sexual assault.
There’s no specific return date for Brooklyn Nine-Nine yet, but rest assured, we’ll be waiting.
