Brooklyn Nine-Nine S5 Heads to Aussie Netflix on 28 September

More great news from your fave police precinct.

The fifth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will land on Netflix Australia next month, having previously aired on SBS and been made available via SBS On Demand (where it has since expired).

On 28 September (mild spoiler alert) you’ll be able to see S5 highlights such as Emmy-nominated ep "The Box" (featuring Sterling K. Brown), Rosa’s (Stephanie Beatriz) coming-out story, and the long awaited wedding between Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero).

However, note that this isn’t the new season being filmed, following the brief cancellation and sudden resurrection of the program. Production on Season 6 only began this week, and it’s not known when exactly the show will debut new episodes on NBC (the American network that rescued it from former home Fox).

However, SBS has confirmed to Student Edge it will be bringing back Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with Season 6 set to premiere in early 2019 on SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand.
