We Did It? "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Has Been Brought Back to Life

You complained loudly enough!

Turns out Brooklyn Nine-Nine could only stay cancelled for 24 hours, having just been officially revived for a sixth season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC in the United States will give the much-loved show 13 more episodes.

At this time, they're not commiting to more than that, but we'll take what we can get.

As reported yesterday, a bunch of outlets attempted to jump to the rescue of the Nine-Nine when the show was unceremoniously canned by Fox (who first aired the show in the States), having witnessed the global outpouring of support.

Turns out NBC beat competitors Netflix, Hulu and TBS to the punch.

Of course, here in Australia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs on SBS, but we're not sure if that'll remain the case with this new arrangement.

Still, that's a concern for another day. Right now, hold your loved ones close, because we escaped the cold hand of death for one more day.
