Not Cool, Cool, Cool: "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Has Been Cancelled

Vale Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The impossible has become reality. A hugely popular show with an objectively enormous following has been cancelled. That's right, your fave show to binge-watch, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, has been cancelled, leaving Season Five as its last.

(Insert infinite angry Rosa GIFs here.)

(Okay, just one.)

Deadline reports Fox cancelled the show due to a drop in ratings (surely, fake news?) despite being the "highest-rated live-action comedy series on Fox this season."

Like us, everyone is unable to comprehend the news.

Melissa Fumero, who plays certified geek Amy Santiago, told EW that the cast "super-optimistic" that it might be renewed in some time.

"Everyone wants to do at least one more season. Everybody feels like we're not done," Fumero said.

"There's more story to tell, there’s more fun stuff to do with this incredible ensemble of characters."

Despite this enthusiasm, they're still sharing their feels all over Twitter.

So, for now, we remain stoic like Rosa just in case this is some crazy misunderstanding and everything is about to go back to normal.
