Among Us Chicken Nugget Lookalike Sells for $130,000 on eBay

That nugg is sus.

This week on food that looks like things, a McDonald’s chicken nugget that bares the uncanny resemblance to a crewmate from Among Us has sold on eBay for $US99,997 ($AUD130,000).

If you find that hard to believe, you’re not alone.

Initially the nugget was listed for the low price of 99 cents and for some time it seemed common sense had prevailed with no bids coming in.

Two days after listing though, someone placed a bid for $US14,969 and 184 bids later, here we are with the world’s most expensive chicken nugget.

Ngl, if I found a nugget like this, I would have gone, “Hey, this looks like a crewmate from Among Us,” then eaten it. That’s why I’m broke and other people are rich.

It should be noted that this sus nugget was apparently part of the BTS Meal, which goes a long way in explaining why this crewmate-like nugget sold for so much.

Collectors have been selling the packaging and sauces for the BTS Meal on eBay recently due to the rarity of the meal, and it seems the hysteria has transferred across to this delicious space cadet.

If you’re wondering if the buyer would be able to eat such a thing, wonder no more. The seller added in the comments that the nugget has been carefully packaged for shipment.

“Item will be frozen and then air sealed to ensure fressness with secure shipping method,” they wrote.

“Do note: This food product has an average expiration of about 14 days and will be delivered prior to expiration.”

I recommend not eating it though. Nuggets are always better fresh.

Adding to the value of the nugget is the fact that the official Among Us Twitter account tweeted about the oddly shaped nug.

Someone give that social media manager a raise. On point.
