McDonald's BTS Meals Are Being Sold on eBay for Hundreds of Dollars

We’re surprised it took this long.

Last week McDonald’s launched their meal collab with Korean boy band BTS and already people around the world are selling the BTS exclusive packing and sauces online.

Celebrating the release of their latest single “Butter”, McDonald’s gave the hottest band in the world right now their own meal which includes 10 chicken nuggets, a large fries and drink, and two exclusive sauces: sweet chili and Cajun.

The meal is sticking around until the end of June, and with some people claiming they weren’t given the special packaging for their meal, it’s no surprise that a BTS x McDonald’s black market has formed.

Let’s have a look at some of the deals.

The BTS Meal McDonald’s Paper Bag Limited Edition.

Looking to secure your piece of BTS history and add to your paper bag collection? Look no further than the official BTS McDonald’s meal bag.

For only $US80 this grease-stained number can sit on your shelf until the sands of time have their way.

BTS Meal Bag with Sauces.

Want some sauce with your bag? You’ve come to the right place. This eBay vendor is hocking the bag and sauces for a massive $US200.

Almost seems worth just going to Maccas and buying the meal. Almost.

BTS Nuggets Box and Sauces.

If you’ve already got the bag, why not complete the set and buy the BTS themed nuggets box for the low price of $250.

The box is in “near mint condition with some marks,” according to the description. Sounds like there’s an opportunity to knock a few bucks off there if you consider yourself a negotiator.

The full set.

Why not just complete the full BTS and McDonald’s meal set for $US47? Bag, nugget box, sauces and drink cup all included.

Easily the best deal for your K-pop memorabilia if you’re a collector. Better be quick though; four have already been sold with only two left.

This isn’t the first time McDonald’s meal items have found their way to eBay.

The famous Szechuan sauce released alongside the Mulan movie in 1998 generated so much fan love in 2018 (‘cos of Rick and Morty) that the sauce had a brief limited release in the United States. Now the sauce is only available on eBay.

Gosh, I love people.

Real talk though, I’m off to Maccas to get my own BTS meal.
