His wife, Amber Heard, was released on a good behaviour bond from Queensland court yesterday after pleading guilty to falsifying quarantine documents when smuggling their undeclared dogs Pistol and Boo into Australia. She at least appears more emotive in the clip.

Yes, all anyone can really think about today is the bizarre apology video the duo created as part of their penance.

It took Australian YouTuber Natalie Tran mere hours to shoot a ‘behind the scenes’ video that answered a lot of questions about Depp’s demeanour.

She’s just saying what we’re all thinking.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce – who instigated this whole mess when he threatened to kill Depp’s undeclared dogs – has said he hopes the video will remind travellers that Australian biosecurity is no “joke”.

Then, according to ABC News, he made a bunch of jokes at Depp’s expense.
