Yeezus Walks: Ya Boy Kanye West Might Be Dropping Two New Albums This June

It's been 796 days since The Life of Pablo was released.

It's been awhile since we heard from controversial rapper Kanye West, but in the last week, he's made headline after headline.

First, he announced in a Polygon interview that he was writing a book on a new philosophical concept he'd conceived. Then, he made a triumphant return to Twitter where he started offering the world some seriously thought-provoking takes.

To add to that, we might also be getting some new Yeezy music in a hot minute.

While Ye's Twitter feed hasn't always been the most reliable source (remember, TLOP was going to be called SWISH, So Help Me God or Waves), it's been a good 113 weeks without any new tracks so we're going to take it, naively, as truth.

He announced on Twitter that his eighth album would be released on 1 June and will contain only seven songs. No word yet on what he'll call it, but we're excited to hear what random words he strings together.

And, just a cool seven days later, he's also dropping a (Watch the Throne-esque?) collab album with Kid Cudi. This is what dreams are made of.

But will he stick to his word or will he revise that release date after multiple revisions of each song?

Seems we're not the only ones wondering about this.
