When Will Kanye West's "Donda" Album Be Released?

He premiered the record at a livestreamed event in Atlanta.
It comes as absolutely no surprise that Kanye West's highly anticipated new album Donda did not drop worldwide on Friday 23 July, as originally planned.
Instead, the rapper hosted a massive listening party at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, with more than 42,000 paying fans in attendance to hear Ye's latest bops.
According to USA Today, while the launch was scheduled for 8pm, Kanye only rocked up at 9:50pm EST. From there, he wandered around the stadium as his new tunes filled the speakers.
Apparently this went on for about 48 minutes and then the singer disappeared.

While the album hasn't been officially released yet, TMZ reported the event broke the Apple Music Global Livestream record, with 3.3 million viewers tuning in.
That's a lot more than the previous record, which was set by Gucci Mane and Jeezy in their Verzuz battle in 2020.
So, when will Donda actually be released?
Honestly, at this point we want to say no release date is entirely reliable, but we'll do our best to keep you informed!
At this stage, a representative for West has confirmed that Donda will now land on 6 August.
That's only about a week away, so you'd better start preparing your ears (and minds, just in case it's pushed back again).

The record features Kanye's reunion with JAY-Z, along with contributions from Pop Smoke, Travis Scott, Pusha T, Baby Keem, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and others.
One of the songs on the album titled "Welcome to My Life" includes lyrics about his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce in February. The pair share children North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West.
Donda follows Kanye's 2019 solo album Jesus Is King, which contained tracks "Follow God" and "Closed on Sunday" (there was only one good song on it, don't @ us).
Let's keep our fingers crossed that we'll be blasting Donda on 6 August.
