When Is “The Book of Boba Fett” Coming Out in Australia?

Everything you need to know about the new series.
On the back of The Mandalorian’s massive success, Disney is going all-in with original Star Wars TV content and The Book of Boba Fett is set to be the next show to land on Disney+.
It’s been almost a year since fans were given a teaser at the end of Season 2 of The Mandalorian, so we don’t blame you if you’d all but forgotten about the series—we certainly did.
But now, with the release date just around the corner, it’s time to get excited about The Book of Boba Fett.
Here’s everything you need to know.
When is The Book of Boba Fett coming out in Australia?
Disney is famously tight-lipped on the exact premiere date of The Book of Boba Fett. All we know for now is that the series is gonna drop on Disney+ in December this year sometime.
When Disney finally drops the official trailer, we’ll have our premiere date, so keep vigilant on your socials.
As for Australia, we should be getting the series the same day as the US if The Mandalorian is anything to go by.

What is The Book of Boba Fett about?
The spin-off about the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunter is finally going to give us some juicy details into Boba Fett’s past (including how he survived the Sarlacc Pit), as well as some all-new adventures from the desert planet Tatooine.
If the post-credits scene in The Mandalorian is anything to go by, Fett—joined by his new partner Fennec Shand—has taken over Jabba’s Palace and declared himself the crime lord in the galaxy’s Outer Rim. It's a safe bet the plot is gonna revolve around that.
One thing I'm really looking forward to in The Book of Boba are the flashback scenes. It's going to be so cool seeing #BobaFett in his RotJ armour again and hearing him with Tem's voice!#TemueraMorrison pic.twitter.com/9c8knQnoGd

If you’re not convinced it will live up to the hype, the executive producer of the show Robert Rodriguez said The Book of Boba Fett will be unlike anything else we’ve seen.
“It’s gonna blow your mind,” Rodriguez said.
“You saw him arrive in my episode of The Mandalorian, that was nothing. I can talk it up all I want because I know it’s gonna deliver, I know it’s gonna over-deliver.”
He talks a big game, but we love it.
Who stars in The Book of Boba Fett?
Temuera Morrison is reprising his role as Boba Fett after also starring as the character’s father Jango in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In that film, Jango was the template for the entire clone army, so the fact his son Boba is a carbon copy really doesn’t raise any eyebrows.
Starring alongside Morrison is Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, a lethal assassin that was introduced in Season 2 of The Mandalorian.
No other actor or actress has been confirmed to have joined the cast, but rumours are swirling that Pedro Pascal will make a guest appearance as Mando.

The Book of Boba Fett drops in December 2021 and will be available to stream on Disney+.
