Watch Time-Lapse Video Of A Street Artist Whipping Up A Prince Mural In Sydney

Though the long weekend saw the return of both Game of Thrones and Beyoncé, the public’s collective interest remains trained on Prince, the iconic pop star who unexpectedly died Friday aged 57.

Over the weekend, New Zealand-born street artist Mr. G (Graham Hoete) paid tribute in Sydney by painting a mural of Prince literally basking in purple rain.

If you live in New South Wales, you can find the epic mural at 1 Speed Street, Liverpool, in Sydney’s west.

Mr. G is now seeking sponsorship to paint a five-storey mural at Paisley Park, in Prince’s hometown of Chanhassen, Minnesota. Check out the time-lapse of his Sydney effort below and decide if you want to help him out with flights and accommodation here.
