Um, "Rick and Morty" Still Hasn't Been Renewed for a Fourth Season

Dan Harmon would also prefer not to be called a "lazy alcoholic".

Dan Harmon, co-creator of Rick and Morty, has revealed that Rick and Morty has not yet been renewed for a fourth season despite last airing midway through 2017.

He revealed this tiny tidbit after replying to one of the more, err, intense members of the show's fandom, who called him a "lazy" alcoholic for "wasting time" on creating Run the Jewels' latest music video.

Harmon also said he didn't mind dealing with trash fans because he knows that the majority of them aren't the human embodiment of warm pineapple on pizza (something that should be banned from existence).

Back in January, Ryan Ridley, a writer on the show, told The Detroit Cast that no one was really working on the fourth season.

"As far as I know, no one is working on the show, I'm certainly not," Ridley said. "They really take their time, I've never understood why everybody... didn't get their s**t together and make the show fast, I just don't get it."

He added: "I'd be surprised if there was a fourth season on the air any sooner than 2019, late 2019."

Late 2019?

In the meantime, you can tide yourself over with their Run the Jewels collab. (Warning: Explicit language and aggressively cool vibes).
