Half of "Rick and Morty" Season 4 Is Now on Australian Netflix, But Where's the Rest?

"Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everybody's gonna die. Come watch TV."

You've waited so, so patiently, but your reward has finally arrived:

That's right, (most of) the fourth season of Rick and Morty is finally available to stream in Australia on Netflix.

You can now gobble up the first five episodes from S4. They include:

  • "Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat"
  • "The Old Man and the Seat"
  • "One Crew over the Crewcoo’s Morty"
  • "Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim’s Morty"
  • "Rattlestar Ricklactica"

Those episodes started rolling out in the US from 10 November. In previous years, episodes arrived on local Netflix shortly after their American airing, on a weekly basis.

We're not entirely sure why these instalments of Rick and Morty were delayed down under, but then again, seeing as we've had to wait 813 days for a new ep, we're just happy it got here at all.

IMDB user scores for these latest episodes have varied, with "Edge of Tomorty" and "Rattlestar Ricklactica" rated 9.2 and 9.1 respectively (as of this writing), and "Claw and Hoarder" getting a series-low 7.7, but perhaps that'll all change once Aussies can see and score these episodes themselves.

As for the remaining five episodes of Season 4, well, no one knows exactly when they'll arrive. They haven't even premiered in the United States yet.

As the trailer for the new season initially said, this is "half the season you deserve, all the season we could handle," hinting at the notoriously slow rate at which creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland can pump out entries to their animated series.

Most likely we'll get the next batch sometime in 2020 (and hopefully not too long after they arrive in America).

In the meantime, you know what to do:
