Uhh, Is Tyrion Going to Die in the "Game of Thrones" Finale?

Spoilers… maybe.
Game of Thrones’ final season is descending on us faster than a swooping Drogon, and so too will confirmation of our favourite characters’ fates.
Who will live? (Probably only a few.) Who will die? (Certainly almost everyone.) And though we should know better, we have a few requests for the Lord of Light, that at least a couple of our faves make it to the final credits; chief among them, Tyrion Lannister.
But the Emmy-winning actor behind Tyrion, Peter Dinklage, may have just spilled the beans on Tyrion’s chances of survival. And (seriously, spoiler alert… perhaps) things are not looking good!
In a recent interview with Vulture, Dinklage was asked how he felt about where "Tyrion is left at the end of the series".
He responded by dancing around the subject, before dropping a potential bombshell: "I feel very, very—I’m trying to find the right word. I think he was given a very good conclusion. No matter what that is—death can be a great way out."
Oookay. That feels like TMI, considering George R.R. Martin’s books have been overtaken by the show, meaning only those behind the scenes know how this whole thing is going to wrap-up.
Vulture’s interviewee, David Marchese, added the following clarification to Dinklage’s quote, probably knowing how the internet would react: "I took what Dinklage was saying here not as a suggestion that Tyrion dies, but rather his attempt to leave open the possibility that the character might meet that fate."

Anyway, we’ll find out for certain when the eighth and final season arrives (sometime) in 2019.
