Where are Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the New "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Trailer?!

Time for my fourth rewatch of the trailer at 0.25x speed.

The official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped today and the internet has been scouring every millisecond for a glimpse of the OG Peter Parkers.

While we’ve gotten a solid glimpse of the nostalgic Otto Octavius and Sandman, and have heard the Green Goblin’s spine-chilling cackle, there’s still some familiar faces missing.

Sony and Marvel have failed to cover up the massive secret that Tobey and Maguire and Andrew Garfield are going to feature in the MCU multiverse.

There have been countless leaks and evidence that both actors have shot scenes for the upcoming Spider-Man movie.

It was expected that they’d be featured, or at least alluded to, in the new trailer.

They’re nowhere to be found—but the internet’s spidey senses are tingling.

Many are assuming they’ve been cut out from the trailers to deliberately maintain suspense. The tweet above shows how the layout of the scene appears to suggest that Tobey, Andrew, and Tom should all be in the shot.

There are mixed responses. Lots of fans are upset that they waited so long, for no reveal.

Others are thankful that it will all be saved for the big screen.

Catch me rolling into cinemas for the Australian release on December 16 2021 like this.
