A Classic Spider-Man Cartoon is Now On Netflix and It’s Epic

Consider my spidey senses tingled.

Chuck this tune on for a sec.

Hear that? It’s the sound of one of the most highly rated Spider-Man series, and you’ll be hearing a lot more of it if you tend to spend any time on Netflix.

The Spectacular Spider-Man is heading to the streaming platform, and even if cartoons aren’t your jam, you may wanna check this one out.

The two-season series first aired back in 2008, shortly after Tobey Maguire wrapped up on the iconic Spider-Man trilogy—so it was all still fresh in our minds.

Nonetheless, Josh Keaton voices a charismatic and endearing Peter Parker who will win your heart over immediately.

The Spectacular Spider-Man centres around Peter just having recently adjusted to being Spider-Man, facing villains connected to Norman Osborn or the “Big Man” aka Tombstone. Meanwhile, he juggles high school life with his friends Harry and Gwen Stacy.

Unlike recent iterations of Spider-Man, whereby Tom Holland’s Peter Parker becomes an internationally known vigilante, the Peter Parker in Spectacular is simply a normal kid. And there’s something charming about that.
