It’s unconfirmed whether this is an actual relationship, situationship, or cheeky PR stunt. But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and SNL comedian are a ‘thing’.

How the heck did it start?

31 January 2019: Kid Cudi’s birthday.

Ironically, the first receipt of the couple being in contact is a photo in the presence of Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West (or ye as he goes by now). Kim tweeted the celebratory snaps of Kid Cudi’s birthday, featuring Yeezy, Timothée Chalamet and Pete (another combination which no one expected).

10 October 2021: Saturday Night Live.

For almost 3 years, the pair had seemingly nothing to do with each other.

Then, Kim hosted her first-ever appearance on Saturday Night Live in which she shared an onscreen kiss with Pete in a sketch as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin.

Perfectly innocent, co-star chemistry. Certainly nothing of significance.

29 October 2021: Rollercoaster snaps.

To celebrate the spooky season, Kim and Pete visited an amusement park (along with infamous couple Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian) and held hands on a rollercoaster drop. The moment went viral, yet it was still dubious whether it was platonic or romantic.

A source told People that Kim and Pete were getting to know each other, and that “they hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time…it’s just friends hanging out.”

2 November 2021: Hometown date night.

Err… How do you explain Kim visiting Pete’s hometown of Staten Island, New York, and going to an Italian restaurant?

A source told Page Six “Pete arranged a dinner on the rooftop privately…it was just the two of them.”

9 November 2021: Pete addresses rumours.

Without giving us a direct answer, Pete metaphorically winked at us all on The Late Night With Seth Meyers when the talk-show host wanted to “confirm if it’s real”.

We all know what ‘it’ means. But Pete played dumb by simply joking, “it is true—I have a show coming out.”

17 November 2021: Hand-holding PDA!

We’d been suspecting it, but this really blew any doubts out of the water.

Kim and Pete were caught holding hands in a Palm Springs parking lot, and we still can’t believe these aren’t edited.

Pete went full simp-mode and shared a snap of him in matching PJ sets with Kim, her mum, Kris Jenner, and rapper Flava Flav.

Wonder how Kanye’s doing. And Ariana. This isn’t the easiest celeb relationship to get to grips with.
