Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Reportedly Getting a Divorce

They've been married for almost seven years. 

Folks, it's only the start of 2021 and we're already diving deep into celebrity drama. 

According to a report in Page Six, it looks like Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West could be getting divorced. 

Those of you who followed Keeping Up With the Kardashians would know that Kim and Kanye have been friends for a long time and officially became a couple in 2012. They were engaged in 2013 and got married in 2014. 

First of all, it's important to note that the news hasn't exactly been confirmed by Kim or Kanye. However, the couple has reportedly been on the rocks for several months. 

In fact, Kanye was even absent from Kim's recent Christmas posts.

Sources told Page Six that the pair's "divorce is imminent", and that Kim has hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser. 

"They are keeping it low-key but they are done," one source said.

They added that while Kim had done much in the past to protect and help Kanye deal with his mental health struggles, "now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot". 

A separate source said Ye has become increasingly uncomfortable with the Kardashians' over-the-top reality star lives. 

Naturally, the internet has, uh, sensitively responded to the news with memes.

Although, some people are genuinely sad that it sounds like it's over the for the couple.

I keep seeing some people celebrating about Kim and Kanye's divorce. Personally, I really don't like Kim and Kanye but divorce is actually a really sad thing tho:(

Kim and Kanye have four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
