Here’s What You Loved this Year: Student Edge Wrapped 2025

And a big thank you from us to you

We can’t believe we’re coming to the end of another year here at Student Edge. And it’s been a big one!

Before we get into it, we just want to say a huge thank you to every single member who has read our articles, redeemed a deal, entered a competition or taken a survey.

You guys make Student Edge what it is and we’re lucky to have some of the best members in the world 🫶

Here’s what we did this year, who we spoke to, and what you guys loved the most.

Our deals were well loved.

We love our deals and you guys do too.

This year we saw a whopping 1,536,522 views on our deals and honestly? We get it.

We saw new deals on our app like Cotton On, New Balance and Nikon.

But the top five deals you loved most were HOYTS, Apple, Krispy Kreme, Woolworths and Samsung.

Comps you entered.

You couldn’t get enough of competitions, and it shows. This year we gave away over $75,000 in prizes.

Student Edge members got the chance to win gift cards, movie tickets, Samsung buds, and new Logitech tech. And that’s just tip of the iceberg.

There were over 600 winners across our various competitions…and hopefully even more in 2026.

Surveys you earnt 🤑 on.

Surveys were just one way for our members to win big in 2025.

You guys earned over $200,000 just from doing surveys!

If you’ve never participated in a Student Edge Survey what this means is you can earn Edge Credits which can be translated into real dollars. If you complete surveys, you’ll be earning Edge Credits for yourself. It’s literally as easy as: taking a survey > earning Edge Credits for every completed survey > redeem surveys for cash (via PayPal) or gift cards.

Celebs we spoke to.

Here at SE we love pop culture and entertainment and it shows with who we interviewed.

Our team spoke to Keke Palmer, Danny and Michael Philippou, Jane Lu and the cast of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

And every interview had some interesting moments.

Danny and Michael told us all about shooting on set, and gave us a lively demonstration too.

Articles and content you consumed more than anything.

It was no surprise to us that our top read article of the year was about the phenomenon that is Mr Worldwide aka Pitbull. (Brb going to buy our bald cap)

Alongside this, our members loved reading about the new film Regretting You, the winners of the L’Oreal Brainstorm competition, YoChi’s limited time student deal and how to fall asleep when your brain won’t turn off.

And while content is king, you guys definitely loved to scroll.

Our most watched video this year was the SE team giving the internet their best Gen Z stare, which racked in 125k views. Feels.

You also loved watching our take on trends like ‘opening the elevator door most nonchalantly’ and channelling our inner Elphaba and Glinda.

Plus, you consumed helpful content around what Centrelink payments you might be eligible for as a student and how to pass your driving test.

You voted on your fave brands.

We asked 1000 of you what your fave brands were and you answered.

The top gong went to YouTube for the third time in a row. Followed by Spotify, Kmart, Google, Netflix, Officeworks, Instagram, JB Hi-Fi, Aldi and Nike.

There are a whole lot more of you.

We’ve now got over 1,499,219 members and counting.

And while that is a huuuge number. It would mean nothing without you, our members.

So whether you just redeemed one deal this year or you entered every single comp, we want to say thank you from us to you.

Plus, follow us on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and download the app for the full Student Edge experience. We promise it’s worth it.

We hope you enjoy the festive break and we can’t wait to be back in the new year with more good stuff for you to enjoy on Student Edge.
