PSA: Clairo Has Announced a 2020 Australian Tour

She's also heading down under for Groovin' The Moo.

American singer-songwriter Clairo has had a monumental year. In August 2019, she released her debut studio album Immunity, which was praised by critics for being impressively emotional, especially considering she's only 21 years of age.

On top of that, she's amassed 45 million views on YouTube and 96 million streams on Spotify. Yeah, she's killing it.

Even if you haven't listened to her debut album, it's highly likely you've heard some of her songs. "Bags" even made it into our Top Songs of 2019 countdown.

Alternatively, you might have heard her angelic voice featured on Charli XCX's "February 2017" or "Are You Bored Yet" by Wallows. Plus, she's also gearing up to open for Tame Impala on their upcoming US tour. American musical trio Khruangbin will join the band as their support act for their Aussie shows.

So, you can imagine our excitement when we found out that Clairo has justt announced a bunch of Australian headline shows. The last time she graced our audiences with her presence was at Laneway Festival 2019.

Clairo will kick things off in Fremantle on Tuesday 28 April before heading to Melbourne's Matt Watt's on Thursday 30 April and Brisbane's The Triffid on Tuesday 5 May. She'll wrap things up in Sydney on Wednesday 6 May.

The singer will be donating all proceeds from her headline dates to bushfire relief charities; Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities, Foodbank and Animals Australia.

The Clairo Fan Club, Penny Drop Members, Chugg Members and Frontier Members pre-sale will open on Monday 17 February at 12pm local time and will run for 24 hours. Otherwise, general public on sale begins on Wednesday 19 February at 12pm local time.

Clairo is also part of the line-up for Groovin' The Moo 2020, so if you're planning on going along, you'll be able to catch her there, along with The Veronicas, Tones And I, Dope Lemon, Mallrat and more.
