Oops: Mark Ruffalo Might've Spoiled "Avengers: Endgame" Too

Mark Ruffalo is not a good liar.

Mark Ruffalo went on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to talk about Avengers: Endgame. Mark Ruffalo was then hooked up to a lie detector and quizzed about some interesting plot theories.

It turns out, Mark Ruffalo is still not a good liar.

After calibrating the apparent lie detector (jury's still out on whether these actually work), Fallon asked Ruffalo if Hulk was secretly a shape-shifting alien known as a Skrull. Ruffalo responded, unconvincingly: "What? No, Jimmy, I can't answer that."

The lie detector observed Ruffalo's anxious response. Does this mean that's confirmed? Could be so.

Next up, he asked whether there are still hidden clues in the new Avengers: Endgame trailer that people might be unaware of. His bad lying seems to indicate there are.

Finally, Fallon questions whether Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Bruce Banner finally get together, romantically?

Ding, ding, ding.

Of course, this isn't the first time he's potentially spoiled an Avengers movie ahead of its release.

In July of 2017, a full nine months before the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Ruffalo spilt the beans.

During an interview with Good Morning America, Ruffalo laughs "Wait 'till you see this next one, everybody dies!"

Don Cheadle tried to cut him off but the damage was done, the secret was out... except nobody realised he telling the truth until the damn movie came out.

We'll find out if Ruffalo's done it again when Avengers: Endgame is released in Australian cinemas on 25 April.
