Oh My 'Gram: Netflix Is Creating a Docuseries About Byron Bay Influencers

It'll be called Byron Baes.

Look, it's safe to say that we all see our fair share of influencer content across social media and television shows (*cough* MAFS *cough*).

Well, get your selfie sticks and LED ring lights out, 'cos you're about to see some more.

Netflix has announced that a docu-soap about influencers out and about in Byron Bay is coming. Oh, and it's called—you guessed it—Byron Baes.

According to the streaming service's social media post, the new docuseries will feature a "feed of hot Instagrammers living their best lives, being their best selves, creating the best content."

"PLOT TWIST: don't write these Baes off too quickly. There'll be fights, flings and heartbreak; but beneath every perfect post is a very real desire not just for 'likes' but to be liked, dammit," Netflix added.

Well, ain't that the story of my life.

The series will be executive produced by Married at First Sight and Real Housewives of Sydney's Emma Lamb, alongside Julian Morgans and Rachel Tuffery.

At this stage, we have no clue which influencers will be featured in the docuseries. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, The Block's Elyse Knowles is tipped to be among the cast.

Netflix is yet to confirm a release date, so we'll be sure to bring you the piping hot tea once we know more.
