Nick Kyrgios Has Been Given Detention By His Old High School, Despite Being A 20-Year-Old Man

Bad boy tennis star Nick Kyrgios is proving you can still get punished by your school even after leaving it behind.
Kyrgios’ alma mater, Radford College in Canberra, has taken down a photo of the 20-year-old tennis player from their Wall of Fame.
He/ it now sits in the director of sport's office.
Radford principal Fiona Godfrey told Fairfax, “He’s had a temporary departure from the hall [of fame], he’s actually on detention in the director of sport’s office at the moment and we’re keeping him there until his behaviour improves — which we’re very confident that will happen given that he was a Radford student.”
Way to squeeze in a plug for Radford, Principal Godfrey.
“All good sportspeople are an influence and particularly being from Canberra the kids all follow him quite closely and we want them to have good role models,” she added.
Kyrgios is on thin ice at the moment, and not just with his old high school. He is on professional probation for the next six months following a series of controversial and unsportsmanlike activities (both on and off the court). If he causes any more trouble between now and February, he could face a $US25,000 fine and a 28-day suspension from the game.
If he wants to get back on Radford’s Wall of Fame, alongside the Hockeyroos’ Anna Flanagan, Socceroo Tom Rogic and cricketer Ryan Carters, he’ll need to listen to the advice of national conscience Shane Warne and “respect the game of tennis.”
I’m sure Nick is loving all this constructive criticism.
