Meet The Gang Embarking On The R U OK? Road Trip Across Australia

It's a magical mystery tour, all about mateship.

If you spot a bright yellow bus in your neck of the woods, you're either having a Simpsons-esque fever dream, or, more likely, have simply spied the R U OK? gang as they roll around Australia.

Ahead of R U OK? Day on September 10 - when everyone's encouraged to check in with family, friends and strangers, to ensure they're doing alright - the renovated RV will traverse the countryside, encouraging conversation about mental health and wellness across the nation.

With suicide being the biggest killer of Australians under 44 years of age, and more than 2,500 Australian suicides each year, it's an issue that deserves discussion all year long.

We caught up with Campaign Director Bec Lewis at the top of the tour, as well as ambassador Anna Flanagan of the Hockeyroos.
