Looks Like Taylor Swift Is Going In On Kanye and “Fake News” With Her New Album “Reputation”

Well, we didn’t have to wait long for confirmation.

Taylor Swift’s social media accounts have slithered back to life today, with three big reveals (and no more vague snake/dragon videos).

The first: Yes, she is releasing the first single from her next album tomorrow, August 25.

The second: The album formerly known as TS6 is officially titled Reputation, and it’ll follow her first single on November 10.

The third: It has a terrible cover.

The Reputation artwork, most obviously, calls out the media’s obsession with her. (Yeah, that tracks.)

But, the Queen of Beef is also seemingly finally taking her revenge against Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for Snapchat-gate. With its overlapping print, gothic title font and her Yeezy Season dystopia-wear, Reputation looks practically like a Yeezus parody.

While that may provide the album with a juicy narrative—even though we’re still holding out hope they’ll drop a duet—this doesn’t make the cover look any less like a high school art collage project gone wrong.

Also, her choker is on way too tight. But, maybe that’s the point too?

Anyway, if you were exhausted by this week’s Taylor-induced turn of events, get ready: The surely years-long Reputation news cycle has only just begun.
